Hello, My name is Rae Llasos III. I'm a Husband, Father, High Performance Hacker, Cardiac Nurse, Entrepreneur. I've been a Cardiac Nurse for over 20 years and an Entrepreneur for over 12. In 2008 my wife and I were expecting our Daughter. I was working two jobs as a nurse at that time and I was stressed out and burnt out. I was scared that when my Daughter was born I wouldn't have enough time to spend with her and she would grow up to see me as a disappointment. I was also scared that i was not making enough money to build a lifestyle that I want for my family and at that time didn't want to be a nurse anymore. I was completely burnout and was dreading going to work every single day.
A lot of nurses choose this career because they want to, I felt I was in this career because it was what my parents wanted me to do. I was upset and now I have a family to support. I felt I needed to get
out.
During one of my darkest weeks, a coworker introduced me to take a look at an opportunity. I said "No" right away. I didn't even know what i was saying No to. He was persistent and consistent and on a Friday after work, I finally took a look. I saw an opportunity for me and I started dreaming for my Family. I signed up on the spot not knowing anything about Entrepreneurship. I hit the ground running. I was ignorance on fire! I had initial success but I didn't know how to handle rejection, disappointment, and discouragement. Although i was working with a team, I felt alone. That's when I discovered personal development. I realize that if I wanted to be successful, I had to stop chasing success, but be a person success would be attracted to. I dove deep into personal development and for the past 12 years I have been learning the skills, mindset, attitude in becoming not just a successful Entrepreneur, but a better me.
Another Opportunity opened up for me and even though I was skeptical, I went all in. I knew if I applied all the things I had been learning and continued to learn, I can be more successful. My business took off right away! I have earned more in half the time as before and my Family has been very proud of me. In fact, my 12 year old Daughter has become one of my wildest supporters and even helps me in my business. One of the greatest feelings I had with this business is after coming home from serving, my 2 year old Son ran to me, gave me a huge hug, and yelled, "Daddy's home!" And income wise, at the time of this writing, I had surpassed what I did in over 12 years in my business...in 7 months.
My Nursing career, It's thriving too. In the Covid-19 Pandemic, I realize I'. still a Nurse because here I can serve greatly. I realize that through this journey that nursing, just like my business is a Calling. I learned that I have been given an opportunity to serve in the hospital, and serve outside of it.
As this journey continues to unfold, I know now that I am only a steward. What I do and what I have is not my own, but a gift from Him who I serve, so I can be a river of blessing for others.
That's why I'm so excited to share this with others. In these challenging times of the Covid-19 Pandemic, there will be times when you may not be motivated. What I've learned is that motivation and will power fades, Inspiration and why power lasts. You have to have a strong "Why". A why that makes you cry. My "Why" is being the best servant I can be to The Most High God, the best husband to my Wife, be the best Dad to my children.
